Planning a stress-free honeymoon

As you probably already realize, the wedding planning process is all-consuming – it’s a nonstop whirlwind of decisions to make and details to coordinate. At the end of it all, after the champagne toasts have been made and the last dance has been played, you’ll be in dire need of some time alone with your new spouse -- a honeymoon!

Every couple has their own unique vision of the perfect honeymoon for them. It might be an island escape, filled with white sand beaches, cool tropical drinks, and nights spent in a romantic thatched-roof bungalow. Or maybe it’s a week spent sampling the food, wine, and culture of the most romantic cities of Europe. Whatever your dream honeymoon may be, the one thing that holds true for everyone is this: this is the time to bring in a professional travel planner.

Honeymoon planning is far too important to be left until the last minute or done in your “spare time” online. Besides, using a professional travel planner won’t cost you any more than doing it yourself… it will be FAR less stressful…and you’ll definitely end up with a better vacation experience.

A travel planner (who may also call herself a honeymoon planner, travel agent, or travel consultant) does the research for you, negotiates with the vendors, works out the details, and advises you on passports, visas, travel insurance, time differences, currency exchange, etc. She can also help you set up a Honeymoon Registry to help pay for the trip. Most importantly, she is there for you in the unlikely event that something goes wrong with your trip -- to re-arrange your travel plans, intercede with suppliers, and act as an advocate on your behalf.

And the best part of all? You, the honeymooners, typically pay nothing at all for that service! Travel planners earn their money in commissions from the suppliers (hotels, cruise lines, tour companies, etc.), and generally only charge additional service fees for things like airline tickets.

At Annie’s Escapes, we specialize in stress-free custom-planned vacations for busy people like you. We would love to put together a honeymoon that fulfills your dreams AND fits your budget. And we promise to deliver personalized service that makes the planning process a breeze!

Q&A; Why do I need an event planner?

A professional wedding consultant is a wealth of creative ideas and insider's know-how. She's got connections with the best vendors in town and has learned to become an ace negotiator to get you the best value or 'deal' for your money. She's oozing with imagination, and knows where to find all of those unique and dazzling touches to transform your wedding into an absolute fantasy. She knows the tips and tricks to avoid trouble - but she also knows how to trouble-shoot when the need does arise. She knows what needs to be done when, and she knows the "whos" and "hows" to make it all happen. She's an organized, people person with a penchant for detail and a superb sense of style. She is the bride's advocate and adviser, her counselor, and her buddy, all rolled into one.

Ask anyone who has been involved in planning a wedding and they'll quickly tell you that the process can be like a full time job. So much to do, so much to learn - and so little time to do it all! Few brides-to-be are experienced in orchestrating an event as large and important as a wedding. There are endless details to arrange, many logistics to organize, large numbers of vendors and service providers to hire, schedules, time-lines and budgets to manage... and as a result, so much room for oversights to occur and for things to go wrong. The reality is that few couples have the level of time in their schedules required to successfully plan, manage, and execute such an event effectively.

Many brides and grooms run themselves ragged in the months leading up to the wedding. Equal numbers of couples tell tales of a wedding day that went by in a blur because there was still so much for them to attend to and worry about that they had little time to relax and enjoy the moment. The wedding coordinator can help alleviate these situations by being on hand to take care of time consuming tasks and trouble shoot for you when required, making it all so much easier and more enjoyable for you.

To schedule a complimentary consultation, call (401) 855 - 0373 or email info@detailswithlove.com to customize planning services to meet your needs and budget.

The Wedding Film

Wedding videos have changed over the last number of years. With the quality of video cameras improving into the HD quality and creative shooting looking more like film-quality productions, the wedding video has turned into the wedding film. Story telling is taking center stage. It's not just a video of the day, but a narrative and cinematography of fine details are making the wedding film a treasured heirloom.

We at Artistic Wedding Video Group research what our customers envision for their day and produce a piece that reflects their individual personalities and style. We offer cinematic wedding productions with Hollywood style equipment like Steadicams and Jibs (only used in high end productions) that give our clients that cinematic wedding film that is the new standard.

Wedding cinematography has also transcended beyond just the wedding day. We can produce a customized Love Story film about how the bride and groom met, their first date, all the way to their engagement. Many of the guys think this is something they would hate to do, but after the production I often hear how great it was to put into words the way they were feeling the moment they popped the question... Will you marry me? I also touch on their future together and what their hopes and dreams are... Isn't that what marriage is all about.... The future? It's a great experience for the bride and groom and it's a great way for their families to hear those stories first hand, from the bride and groom.

Beyond producing a wedding film and Love Stories, we also can produce an Instant Wedding Day Film. This is a short highlight that can be presented the day of the wedding or saved for the day after brunch. It's a wonderful presentation of the highlights of the day instantly the wedding day. Our couples are always amazed at what they have missed and the varying perspectives that we have on the wedding day!

We enjoy using our technical skills and creativity to capture the essence of our couples and their wedding day. We feel that we are part of the bigger picture and work hand in hand with all the other elements of the event to create an experience for the bride and groom that will be treasured for years to come!
