Bridal Brunch with Experts

This Sunday, November 7th at Roger Williams Casino, The Rhode Island Wedding Group will be hosting an intimate brunch for brides-to-be from 11am - 3pm. Not a typical bridal show, but rather a small "question and answer" session, plus wonderful brunch items expertly prepared by Russell Morin's Fine Catering, for brides that seek to find out the latest trends from experts in the local wedding industry.  For the brides that did RSVP we will be having a special guests that will entertain our brides with a wonderful presentation, followed by a period of time to answer all of their questions.  The RIWG is happy to announce that Richard and Evan Carbotti of Perfect Surroundings (www.perfectsurroundingsinc.com/), the premier international special event company dedicated to the design and production of original, custom, thematic and decorative environments of any scale, will be our guest presenters!  Hope to see all those that RSVP'ed on Sunday !  It will be a great time.

Great Event at Five Bridge Inn in Rehoboth

The Rhode Island Wedding Group had a strong showing by its members at this small, intimate bridal show at a beautiful venue, Five Bridge Inn, in Rehoboth, Ma. 

The tent was decorated eloquently with wonderful lighting and decorations by High Output.  A wonderful turn out of brides made the event a great success. 

Cudos to all that attended to make it such a wonderful event.

Meet Mike Before the Show Artistic Wedding Video Group  Newport Bridal Show Exhibitor Spotlight Mike Henriques Artistic Wedding Video Group    "It is often said that there are two types of brides: those that choose videography and those that wish they had."  A professional video recording of your wedding is a way to truly capture every precious moment of the day and relive them for years to come.  Mike Henriques, owner of Artistic Wedding Video Group, based in Newport,  wants to capture your special day in an equally extraordinary way. With 14 years of experience in the video industry, Mike immediately fell in love with the energy and fast pace of shooting weddings. "You provide the story and we mold it into wedding films and videos," Mike says.  A common misconception of videography is that it's just an expensive version of a home video.  However, the truth is that the final product is really more of a movie when creatively produced.  It's a creative and entertaining representation of the wedding day.               In fact, a recent bride and groom were so touched by Mike's representation of their day that they were both moved to tears right in his own office as they all viewed the video.  And that's exactly the kind of thing that makes Mike so passionate about what he does.
