Meet Mike Before the Show Artistic Wedding Video Group  Newport Bridal Show Exhibitor Spotlight Mike Henriques Artistic Wedding Video Group    "It is often said that there are two types of brides: those that choose videography and those that wish they had."  A professional video recording of your wedding is a way to truly capture every precious moment of the day and relive them for years to come.  Mike Henriques, owner of Artistic Wedding Video Group, based in Newport,  wants to capture your special day in an equally extraordinary way. With 14 years of experience in the video industry, Mike immediately fell in love with the energy and fast pace of shooting weddings. "You provide the story and we mold it into wedding films and videos," Mike says.  A common misconception of videography is that it's just an expensive version of a home video.  However, the truth is that the final product is really more of a movie when creatively produced.  It's a creative and entertaining representation of the wedding day.               In fact, a recent bride and groom were so touched by Mike's representation of their day that they were both moved to tears right in his own office as they all viewed the video.  And that's exactly the kind of thing that makes Mike so passionate about what he does. Many brides let their budgets keep them from choosing videography, but Mike believes a video of your wedding day is invaluable. He advises against having your friends or family shoot your video; they are guests and they want to act like guests.  Also, not every videographer is a creative shooter, which can make the difference in the way it is represented: "It's first about telling a great story and then finding the most appropriate way to execute it."
